Lush, examined:

"Take it easy, sweetheart."
I say to myself in third person
As the masculine entity inside my soul.
Hard to take it easy when
My heart wants to continuously,
Unexpectedly,
Jump out of my chest
When I feel something, I merge with it
It becomes me; I am it.
I want to spin with the sun
Dance with the ions
Craving that thing
That something to temporarily feel whole
To eventually be spun off again:
A journey.
We like to form that civil facade
To cover our flaws
Yet it covers what we are
Our essence, the movement we are missing out on
The Earth misses us though we are right here.  We sometimes choose to deny it
We are taught to feel like vapor
When we are the alchemy of dismemberment
The sum of our parts
The whole of our hearts
We forget that we pulse
Electromagnetically,
We travel through the air as sound waves,
Light waves,
Beings of feelings.
Weavers of thought.
